My name is Glen Bishop . The word Wiyaka is the Native American Lakota word for feather I discovered this when I was in Wyoming USA spending time with a Lakota medicine women. As I have always collected feathers it was the obvious name for my website. I was born in Western Australia. Through out my childhood I had a love for the natural world which to this day I still do. When i was a boy I had an awareness that there was something far greater than myself that binded all of us to one spirit, an intelligence and creative energy of love, all the life on earth and the universe, we are all connected and all of us have something to share and teach. Through out my childhood I had a love for nature, especially birds. I loved feathers, which to this day I still do. At the age of 29 my inner gifts were coming to the forefront of my consciousness. I then began a journey on my spiritual path. I give much gratitude and thanks to my family and ancestors. A special thanks to my grandfather bluey in spirit.
